How to add some colour to your wardrobe - the Pantone colour of 2019
Pantone have declared "Living Coral" to be the colour of the year for 2019. So if one of your New Year's Resolutions was to add more colour to your wardrobe, then here are some suggestions in the colour of the year!
I find coral is pretty flattering on lots of different skin tones, but if you're not sure, then here are some tips:
If your skin tone if pale and more blue toned and you don't tan very easily then go for a more pink toned coral. If you have darker hair so there's a bit contrast between your skin and hair, look for a brighter one but if you have mousey hair and little contrast, look for one that's more washed in.
If you have more of an olive tone to your skin or freckles and a red tinge to your hair, then a more orange toned coral will be better for you. Darker hair will look good in deep salmon tones and strawberry blond hair will be better in lighter shades.
An easy way to try out a new colour is with a t-shirt. Wear it under a chunky navy half zip sweater for casual weekend wear or a fine knit navy cardigan and indigo jeans for a bit of a smarter look.
