Plaid mad - Sale picks
The tail end of the sales is often the best time to pick up a "billy bargain" so I've been doing some virtual sale shopping for you.
Just in time for Burns night, I've picked out a selection of tartan (or plaid as our American friends would say, plus I couldn't think of anything to rhyme with tartan :-)) and check pieces for you.
I like the fact that these pieces can be worn either in either a casual way or made to look more sleek and urban. If like me, you have very little pattern in your wardrobe it's the perfect way to add some in. Hurry though, as sizes are limited and selling out very fast.
Wear this tartan bomber with a traditional Guernsey knit sweater, worn-in denim and these brown Derby shoes in tumbled leather to kick back at the weekend, or smarten for the working week with tailored navy wool trousers, a classic white shirt and forest green knit tie.
