What clients bought - short sleeved summer shirts
I've been shopping the sales with clients in the past few weeks and updating holiday wardrobes aplenty! When you're going short sleeved, you can't beat a camp collar, which is the style I've concentrated on here. These are just some of the warm weather shirts my clients have bought when we've been shopping together for holidays and weekend wear.
If you'd like me to navigate the sale rails for you and do the legwork ahead of our shopping day together, so we can get buying immediately, then scroll down and click the button to book in for your personal shopping trip. Hurry though, as a lot of the sales are ending already!
My client bought this shirt for a pre-wedding dinner in Italy.....we smartened it up a bit by styling it with the buttons done up to the top, tucked in to some cream trousers and an unstructured olive linen jacket on top - it looked amazing! It could just as easily go with shorts for the beach though or left undone with a t-shirt layered under it, and jeans for a night out.
Short sleeved stripe shirt - PS by Paul Smith at Fenwick - £72.50 (only size L available at time of writing)
I spotted this shirt in Selfridges and as luck would have it, it was the right size for my client, as well as being a great colour for him. When I showed it to him and he tried it on, it was a super quick decision to make - it fitted well, was lightweight, casual, and has a slight twist to the design with the contrasting horizontal and stripe detail. Sold!
Green vertical and horizontal striped shirt - Forét - £52.50 (M - XXL available at time of writing)
A brilliant holiday find - this shirt is super lightweight - almost see through - perfect as a cover up to protect you from the sun or as an easy breezy option for these insanely warm evenings we're getting! When the temps drop, wear it with sand coloured chinos and a denim jacket.
'Miyako' camp collar shirt - All Saints at Selfridges - £76 (only XS available at time of writing or M & L available here but at the more expensive price of £112)
This is such an easy alternative to your regular polo shirt......the same pique fabric but a button through style, making it modern and a bit different - something I'm always looking for on personal shopping trips. Super straightforward to style - put it with navy shorts and trainers (these come in UK sizes 5-12) for the daytime, or with lightweight jeans (or these weightless jeans) and loafers for an evening out.
Pale blue short sleeved pique shirt - Hamilton & Hare - £76 (all sizes other than XL available at time of writing)
Another great shirt a client got on our shopping day together......loose, a fun print, cool 1950s style camp collar - what's not to love? Put it with grey, denim, or khaki on your bottom half, and cling on to summer when the temperatures drop by layering a navy jacket on top.
Indigo jungle chambray 'camp shirt' - Universal Works - £79 (all sizes available at time of writing)
"Firstly I wanted to thank you for such a fun day! Really enjoyed the shop and was so helpful to have your trained eye - made things much more interesting and efficient! And I realised we managed to save nearly £1k thanks to the sales :-)"
This was from a client earlier in the year.....the savings he made easily covered my fees, and he got lots of thing he wouldn't have chosen himself but loved! If you'd like to do the same - click the button below to book in today. Last minute appointments may be available!
