Where to find men's shoes in size 13, 14 or larger
A couple of weeks ago, I was searching for some size 13-14 shoes for a client during an online personal shopping appointment. It's not easy finding men's shoes in large sizes but I discovered some new places to shop with one or two brands even going up to a size 15!
I thought it'd be helpful to share my findings here for other men with big feet who struggle to find sizes - so hopefully they don't have to do what my client told me he did in a meeting once - slipped his shoes off under the table as they were too small and killing his feet...yikes!
Trainers seem to be a little more available in larger sizes, but I still thought it was worth including some here. These go up to a European size 48 which in most cases are equal to a UK size 14 shoes.
White & Green A Dice Lo Sneakers - Axel Arigato at Ssense - £200
Scarosso have quite a large selection of trainers, boots and more formal shoes in a size 48 too. I really like the clean, sleek styles they do. You can filter by size and easily see which are available by hovering on the image and the sizes come up. Some of them seem to be available to pre-order for delivery in 2-4 weeks at the time of writing, so if you need some quickly, you might be better off looking elsewhere.
'Ugo blu' leather sneakers - Scarosso - £235
I used to enjoy going into Oliver Sweeney with clients when the shops were open, but now they're only available in store at John Lewis I believe, and they don't stock the larger sizes. They go up to a size 13 online though, which is better than most places, but if only they did a 14 too!
Bellabeg burgundy leather work boots - Oliver Sweeney - £399
I discovered this small independent store recently and liked it - especially their claim of designing 'classic shoes with trainer level comfort" - who could resist! And if that wasn't enough, I liked them even more when I discovered they went up to a fabulous size 15!
They only have a small range and not everything is in stock in the larger sizes (at the time of writing) but with any luck, they'll get some fresh stock coming in soon. It's worth calling the store as it doubles up as a studio and you can speak to the designer direct, so he knows exactly what's going to be available.
Brown calfskin Derby shoes - Martel & Ram - £275
You can't go wrong with some classic tan brogues in your wardrobe, and thankfully Grenson go up to a size 13. Definitely worth investing in to go with your smarter outfits and they look great with jeans too.
'Stanley' tan leather Oxford brogues - Grenson - £305
Some more trainers and one or two shoe/boot options at Mr Porter - mostly size 13s with a few 14s and one 15
Also End Clothing - this selection is filtered by size 14 and 15
They have a new shop in Marylebone and Bobbies go up to a size 13 / 47 Euro
John Lewis have some size 13's though it's not a very inspiring selection :-(
