3 x Pale Blue Blazers for Smart Casual Occasions
There was a period of time when I felt like I wasn't buying nearly as many blazers as I used to with my clients on our personal shopping trips, but that trend seems to have reversed.
And I noticed recently, there's been a lean towards us buying pale blue - I guess it's an obvious choice for summer.......and it looks great with varying combinations of white, dark and light blues underneath, so you can give it different looks.
Also, there's not as many grey blazers around in summer, so if you already have a navy one then a lighter blue is a great alternative to that.
Here are three that I've been getting with clients.....
This jacket is a wool, silk, linen and cashmere blend and feels gorgeous. One of the clients I bought it with, wore it for an event with a dark shirt and dark jeans. I'm not sure what the other one wore but I know for sure that they've both received compliments on it!
It's half lined which gives it a bit of structure but has a natural shoulder so not too formal. Also just something to note if you're deciding between the 3 of them - this one has light coloured buttons whereas the other 2 are darker - I don't think it matters which but just personal preference and something you might want to take into consideration.
Light blue tailored fit "Havana" blazer - £399 - Suit Supply
This one's very similar to the previous one but in a shade or two darker, and also slightly duller in colour. I've bought this blazer with a client yesterday and am looking forward to seeing which way of styling it is his favourite!
It's got a textured look to it and a fleck to the fabric which makes it a little more casual, and isn't lined at all, so very soft and lightweight. It's the sort of blazer you can put with a t-shirt and jeans for going out in the evening or with a white shirt, navy tailored trousers and tie for a more formal event.
Reiss tend to fit well if you're broad on the shoulders and narrow down to a slim waist, so if you're a triangular shape then I'd give this a go.

I've bought this style in a few different colours (there are loads to choose from) with various clients too! They were very different in their needs, and what they'd wear it for but it worked really well on all of them.
It comes up a bit shorter in comparison to the previous two (though Suit Supply do have short, regular and long lengths to choose from) so if you find lots of jackets are too long in the body, then it might be worth giving this one a try.
It's similar in formality to the others, so you could dress it up and down to suit the occasion.

If it's high time you updated your wardrobe but you can't stand shopping and can't even envisage being able to "psych" yourself up for coming shopping with me (like one client told me he'd had to do!)......then take note of what my clients these past couple of days have both said:
"........it was a lot more enjoyable than expected"!!
You see, when you're achieving what you need and getting things done, it's soooo much easier. Not to mention faster - as one of them also mentioned:.
"........it would have taken me all day to find what we bought in the first shop!"

- Introduce you to new shops
- Get you out of your comfort zone a little (but not so much so that you'll buy things you won't wear)
- Advise on tailoring for anything that needs it
